• Summer 2019: Governor Kemp announced he

was partnering with the State School Superintendent to review/revise ELA/mathematics standards

• Standards Review/Revision Cycle: Every 4-5

years

• Mathematics standards will be addressed first,

then ELA standards

• Establish a Citizens Review Committee
