Snacks and Water Bottles

Snacks: Students may bring a healthy snack to school. It will be eaten during instructional time. All snacks should be small, healthy, dry, and finger friendly. Please be mindful of the snack you send if your child’s class contains an allergy. Water bottles: Students may bring water bottles to keep by their desk. Water bottles must have a sports top. (the kind that snap open and closed).

• Beginning in January, students will

begin to lose 1 point for reversals that do not change the value of the number

home folder. Please check their expectation card and sign nightly.

• Please read with your child or to your child!
• You can read library books, leveled readers

that come home, and/or Raz-Kids. *Information about Raz-Kids and leveled readers will be coming home soon!

• Each class will have a slightly different behavior

management system which was explained in your child’s meet the teacher packet.

• Behavior not meeting the school community

agreements will be noted on the expectation card.

Top Dog of the Week

• Every week a student from each

class will be chosen as the Top Dog.

• That week they will get to share

the Top Dog poster they created.

• This will look different in each

classroom.
