Update on LACP u The ¡LACP ¡team ¡has ¡engaged ¡in ¡more ¡60 ¡mee5ngs ¡and ¡professional ¡learning ¡ ac5vi5es ¡since ¡the ¡launch ¡of ¡the ¡LACP ¡design ¡and ¡planning ¡phases ¡in ¡July. ¡ ¡ u Technical assistance and follow-up u Each college was assigned an LACP coordinator who provided follow- up and technical assistance to the college in building their LACP plan. u Phone calls and visits to the colleges u Colleges submitted draft plans to the coordinators and received feedback and suggestions. u Coordinators ensured colleges took advantage of the multiple professional learning and informational activities taking place throughout the fall.

Update on LACP u Collaboration and Coordination with internal and external partners Collaboration with Betsy and Ciber consultants on creation of key • LACP processes in PeopleSoft Consultation with the external consultants regarding the • November 16 th and December 9 th meetings and their feedback on the colleges’ LACP plans LAUSD Meetings • Consultation and collaboration with M. Fuller, M. Iacabo, and A. • Bruno regarding messaging and marketing for LACP Upcoming: Presenting on LACP at National FYE Conference; Post- • conference session at AtD DREAM Conference

Update on LACP u LACP Implementation trainings with all 9 colleges u Plan and implement two all-day implementation trainings for all 9 colleges including: u An overview of the LACP core components and implementation expectations of colleges u An analysis of campus gaps in regards to the LACP core components u An analysis of campus existing student success efforts and how they integrate with LACP u An overview of PeopleSoft business processes that relate to LACP implementation u A discussion of outreach and recruitment best practices and ideas u A discussion of desired and available professional learning opportunities both within and outside the district to assist colleges with LACP implementation

Update on LACP u Key Deliverables u Received completed LACP plans from all 9 colleges u Finalized key PeopleSoft processes in regards to LACP including the eligibility application, responsibility contract and business processes for processing the few waiver u Secured a $20,000 College Futures Planning grant for the state Innovation grants: Grants completed and submitted u Submitted proposal to present at the national FYE conference (proposal accepted) u Created marketing and program materials for colleges u Convened with LAUSD principals, superintendents and counselors to collaborate outreach and recruitment efforts

Update on LACP u Creation of tools, marketing pieces, etc u Creation of the LACP program plan document based on the Conceptual Model created at the August design retreat u LACP Website u LACP FAQ sheet u LACP flyer and brochure u List of available and suggested professional learning opportunities u List of other colleges that have implemented a promise program with links to their program websites u LACP momentum points u LACP Welcome for SIS
