u Technical assistance and follow-up u Each college was assigned an LACP coordinator who provided follow-

up and technical assistance to the college in building their LACP plan.

u Phone calls and visits to the colleges u Colleges submitted draft plans to the coordinators and received feedback

and suggestions.

u Coordinators ensured colleges took advantage of the multiple professional

learning and informational activities taking place throughout the fall.

u LACP Implementation trainings with all 9 colleges

u Plan and implement two all-day implementation trainings for all 9

colleges including:

u An overview of the LACP core components and implementation

expectations of colleges

u An analysis of campus gaps in regards to the LACP core components u An analysis of campus existing student success efforts and how they

integrate with LACP

u An overview of PeopleSoft business processes that relate to LACP

implementation

u A discussion of outreach and recruitment best practices and ideas u A discussion of desired and available professional learning

  • pportunities both within and outside the district to assist colleges
