  11. Transfer To UBC Over 80 years cooperation with UBC • Our counsellors provide students specific assistance with UBC application, i.e. UBC Sauder School. – The A.J. Mouncey Scholarship is awarded annually to a Columbia College student who transfers to UBC. The – size of the award itself varies. Columbia College students acceptance rate into UBC is higher than overall direct • undergraduate acceptance rate. Overall is 30% vs Columbia College 70-80%% (based on the 2011-2018 number) – Columbia College transfer students had a higher degree-completion rate at UBC. • Our students 77.3% vs Average rate 73.5%. –

  19. Entry Dates • Three academic intakes per year : January, May and September. • Although CC does not insist on a deadline, we encourage you to ensure that you have sufficient time to receive a study permit to begin studies for a particular semester.

  20. Homestay • Live with a Canadian family of your choice. • $900/month, with custodianship. • $825/month, without custodianship. • Minimum 2 month commitment. • Private room, shared/private bathroom, with 3 meals/day provided.
