Along westbound Lee Highway, the multi-use Martha Custis Trail is being widened to 16 feet and shifted away from the travel lanes. On Fort Myer Drive, at westbound Lee Highway, VDOT has built a new curb extension on the south side of the intersection, reducing Fort Myer Drive, briefly, from four lanes to three, and creating a widened (14’) sidewalk there. Project completion: Spring 2020.
