Jessica and Isaiah Made it Home!

Jessica R. and Isaiah P. met the beach cities outreach team at the St. Andrews Church meal program. Jessica and Isaiah shared that they had been experiencing homelessness for several months due to not being able to stay with family members nor afford their own home. The outreach team conducted Next Step Tool CES Assessments with Jessica and Isaiah and assisted them over the next few weeks with gathering identification and applying for benefits through the DPSS office. Once all documents were gathered, the outreach team referred the couple to the Transitional Age Youth Rapid Rehousing Program. Thankfully, the couple secured a unit and moved into their new home on 12/20/19. Jessica and Isaiah will now receive case management and rental assistance services going forward from the TAY RRH Program.
