ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS IN CRISIS

TRIAGE- Reaffirm physical health and ensure mental health and physical safety. Provide a low level mental health assessment for students to determine the level of support needed. EVALUATION-Evaluate a student’s levels of psychological risk (low, moderate, high) and provide appropriate interventions and mental health responses. RESPONSE-Ensure appropriate and timely interventions are implemented for each level of psychological risk.
