DUNE Photon Detector Technical Proposal

• Reminders from Bob’s collaboration meeting talk:

• Section Authors (next page) should have gotten a

reminder about this, and a copy of text that was used in the protoDUNE-SP TDR.

– Marginal utility for some, but hopefully helpful for some as well

• Would like to get something in the early part of this week,

• Something with words by the end of the week
• Drafts with some figures, maybe not all, by Wed. Feb 14.

• If you are familiar with or want to try using github, follow the guidance document

to the get the Technical-Proposal repository. The primary repository is https://github.com/DUNE/Technical-Proposal.git

• PD chapter is: far-detector-single-phase/chapter-fdsp-photon-det.tex
• Let me know if you will do this; otherwise just send me the TeX and figures
• I will likely break out the sections into separate files that will be \input into

chapter-fdsp-photon-det.tex

Summary

• A PD chapter section-level outline has been submitted to the lead editors
• Section lengths have been “guestimated” – no feedback from the lead

editors yet

• Names have been attached to each section/sub-section
• 1st drafts are due to Bob by 14 Feb, ~ 2 weeks 1 WEEK from now
