 1985 Solen Electric Co., Ltd. was founded  1986 Begin DC Solenoid production in Taoyuan  1987 Sign 5 years OEM contract with Japanese company &transfer of mass production technology  1988 Acquire 60% Japanese facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan  1989 Establish Solen EMI in Taoyuan (turning & machining)  1993 Acquire 100% Japanese facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan  1995 Start up plastic injection facility / Begin Stepper Motor & Clutch R&D  1996 Opening of new headquarters in Kuan-yin, Taoyuan / Start up stamping & heat treatment facility  1997 ISO 9000 & IECQ certified / Opening of Solen Vietnam Plant / Start up Telfon, MOS2 & Surface treatment  1998 ISO14001 certified / Increase CNC lathing machine to 59  1999 Begin stepper motor & magnetic clutch production
