Solar PV 2010 Program Changes Effective June 1, 2010

1. 2010 Budget Increases:

• $2,500,000 in new incentive funding approved and committed in March 2010.
• $6,898,242 in new incentive funding approved May 2010 (moved up from 2011

and 2012 program years).

• New funding is evenly split between customer classes ($3,449,121 each for

residential and non-residential).

2. New Incentive Levels (Applicable to All New Funding Commitments):

• Residential: $2.25/watt-dc
• Non-residential: $1.75/watt-dc

3. New Service Provider Limits:

• New commitments are offered with service provider caps of 20% within each

incentive budget category, consistent with statutory program rules. These caps limit the amount of new incentive funding that can be allocated to a single service provider within each incentive budget category, but do not affect funding already awarded under previous program guidelines, budgets, and applicable caps.

4. Funding Reservation Period:

• The applicable funding reservation period is now 6 months for all projects

from the date the funding reservation letter is issued. 5. Commitment Process for Queued Applications:

• For applications already submitted but waiting in queue, new funding

commitment letters will be issued beginning June 7, 2010 which quote the new incentive level with final commitment contingent upon Service Provider and customer acceptance of terms within 30 days. 6. New Applications:

• New funding applications may be submitted starting Monday, June 21, at 12

noon Central time.

• Applications received prior to this opening date/time will not be accepted.
• Only complete applications submitted via email to
• pvapps@frontierassoc.com will be accepted.
• Approvals may take longer than usual to process due to volume, but we will

process them in the order received.

• Responses to questions asked during Program Update conference calls – please
