What is SMIIC ?

  • SMIIC is an affiliated intergovermental organisation

to the OIC with 32 Member States

  • An Intergovermental Standardization Body like ISO,

CEN, GSO …etc.

1ST COMCEC MEETING 1984

  • First study

initiated to for harmonization

standards First report was prepared by SEG 1985

standardization experts from member states 15th COMCEC Meeting 1999

meetings, the statute of SMIIC submitted to members signature and ratification
