Introduction Bulgarian Olympic Committee Bulgarian Olympic Committee To Promote and Support Good Governance Founded in 1923 in Sport and Dual Carriers of Athletes; Members - 56 sport associations Erasmus Plus Sport Program Priority; Main Activities -Preparation and Because of lack of DCP for athletes in EU participation of the Bulgarian Olympic summer and winter Olympic Games as well as the Youth Olympic Games and Youth European festivals. Recent Project -National Olympic Academy - where BOC is organising a meeting of the Balkan Olympic committees with representation in 10 countries.

Partnership 2 Academic Partners Smart Sport Partnership envisages project implementation by academic institutions, University of Vienna international sport association and sport Otto Von Guericke University organisations. 2 Sport Organisations Bulgarian Olympic Committee Smart Sport is supported by local government authorities in sport, e.g. ministries of sport, Olympic Committee of FYROM youth and education, municipalities and local and international NGOs. 1 International sport association EUSA Institute

Project General Objective Smart Sport Innovative DCP Smart Sport is supporting the 3 educational e-modules; implementation of the EU 1 online e-platform for best EU practices; Guidelines on Dual Careers of 1 e-platform connecting business with athletes; Athletes by setting up a 5 multiplier sport events including in each PPC; 1 Olympic TEDx event; transnational network of stakeholders that will elaborate, implement and test an Innovative Dual Career Program (DCP) for athletes and coaches.

Smart Sport Specific Objectives 1/ To identify, describe and present in a ready to use way the Smart Sport will set up EU best policies, practices and effective systems in DC of transnational network of main athletes by elaborating and disseminating a comprehensible stakeholders in sport, youth, online tool describing them; education, health, employers’ organisations, sport 2/ To contribute for increasing the visibility of existing initiatives, governing bodies, to foster assistance programs and counselling on DC for athletes and cooperation and synergies in coaches in the partner countries; their policies and actions to create the right environment 3/ To pilot an innovative DCP for athletes and coaches; for elite university students - athletes; 4/ To increase the capacity of athletes and coaches by developing their technological skills; 5/ T o connect business, sport professionals and organisations supporting athletes for growing together by using smart technology;

  14. Smart Sport - What we do? Educate the elite athletes and coaches in smart technology in sports; Make all existing PPC DCP visible and accessible by elite athletes and coaches; Connect business with elite athletes and coaches;

Smart Sport Project Needs The EU guidelines in DCA are To raise awareness of elite student To create comparable skills in the EU athletes ( about 120,000 in EU) and student- athletes and coaches thus underestimated and not well coaches for the EU existing DCP , providing a comparable DC implemented in most of the EU counselling and initiatives; such as environment for them and helping their Member States despite of the EU IOC Athletes Career Program and following - up education during mobility, actions towards their wide KADA , Stadium Listing Sport despite of the differences between the dissemination and promotion.
