Shepherd’s Bush Area - Total Offences 2015-16 Shepherd’s Bush Area -Total Notifiable Offences, 2010-2015 Over last 5 years there has been a decrease in the number of offences from 9,562 in 2010-11 to 7,775 in 2014-15. However there has been a 2.3% increase between 2013- 14 and 2014-15 (+180 offences).

  6. Shepherd’s Bush Area - Total Offences 2015-16 Shepherd’s Bush Area -Total Notifiable Offences, 2015-16 Compared to 2014-15 the majority of months have seen an increase in offences. However both June and August experienced a lower number of offences compared to 2014-15.

  7. Proportion of Offences by Crime Type 2014-15 Theft & Handling offences makes up 46% of total crime in 2014-15, Violence Against the Person makes up 27% of total crime while drug offences make up 8%.

  8. Total Offences 2014-15 Local Level When broken down by Ward Shepherd’s Bush Green had the highest total notifiable offences per 1,000 population rate (281.3), followed by College Park and Old Oak (117.8) and Addison(104.4).

Theft & Handling 2014-15 Breakdown of Theft & Handling Offences The biggest proportion of Theft & Handling offences are Other Theft (35.3%), Theft from Shops (26.2%) and Theft from a Motor Vehicle (12.2%) offences. When broken down by Ward the highest rate of Theft & Handling offences occurred in Shepherd’s Bush Green.

  10. Motor Vehicle Crime 2014-15 Theft from Motor Vehicle Offences 2014-15 The number of theft from a motor vehicle offences have decreased by 30.8% since 2011-12 from 630 to 436 in 2014-15. When broken down by Ward the highest rates of Theft from Motor Vehicle offences occurred in College Park and Old Oak.

  11. Motor Vehicle Crime 2014-15 Theft of Motor Vehicle Offences 2014-15 The number of theft of a motor vehicle offences have decreased by 14.7% since 2011-12 from 232 to 198 in 2014-15. When broken down by Ward the highest rate of Theft of Motor Vehicle offences occurred in Askew .

Violence Against the Person Offences 2014-5 London Boroughs Violence Against Violence Against the Person Offences 2014-15 the Person Offences 2015-16 The number of Violence Against the Person offences has increased by 8.8% since 2010-11 from 1,923 to 2,092 in 2014-15. There has been a 28% increase since 2013-14 from 1,635 to 2,092. This has been mainly caused by changes in recording of Violent offences. When compared across London LBHF has experienced the 14 th (out of 32) smallest percentage increase.

  13. Violence Against the Person Offences 2014-5 When broken down by Ward the highest rate of Violence Against the Person offences occurred in Shepherd’s Bush Green .

  14. Burglary in Dwelling Offences 2014-15 Burglary in Dwelling Offences 2015-16 The total number of burglary offences has decreased by 40.6% since 2010-11 from 534 to 317 in 2014-15. When broken down by Ward, the highest rates of Burglary in Dwelling offences per 1,000 households occurred in College Park and Old Oak.

  15. Other Crimes 2014-15 Theft Person Offences 2014-15 The number of Theft from a Person offences has decreased by 34% since 2012-13 from 583 to 385 in 2014-15. Personal Robbery 2014-15 The number of Personal Robbery offences has decreased by 55.8% since 2010-11 from 355 to 157 in 2014-15.

  16. Noise Nuisance 2012-2015 Noise Nuisance, 2012-2015 The number of noise nuisance complaints recorded by the Council has increased by 16.6% from 2,166 in 2012-13 to 2,525 in 2014-15. The majority of these complaints were for Domestic Noise.

  17. Borough Forecast 2015-16 Forecast 2015-16 – Hammersmith & Fulham Using historic data and the current level of offences in 2015-16 a forecast for 2015-16 can be generated. This suggests that total offences in 2015-16 will be slightly higher than total offences in 2014-15.
