2019-2020 Interim Class Grades* Distribution by Subgroups

The linked report disaggregates Interim grades by subject area, student grade level and group. It details the % of Ds/Fs.

Example of a pattern: Over 1700 students have an

interim grade of F in ELA. Disaggregating by subgroups, these are the patterns that we see: more than half of the students (less than 900) who currently have an F in ELA are Hispanic/Latinx. For African American students, less than 200 currently have an F in ELA. Disaggregating for our other underserved populations, less than 20 students with an interim grade of an F in ELA are in foster care and less than 100 are homeless.

*Interim class grades are defined as grades from marking period 3 for middle school and marking period 4 for high schools.
