  • Michigan IV-D Director since 2012 – Engaging parents to improve

children’s lives

  • NCSEA Board Member, VP of National Council of Child Support Directors,

serve on multiple NCSEA committees, co-chaired NCSEA’s 2018 Policy Forum

  • Regularly asked to speak at both national and local levels
  • Graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University with

a degree in public policy. Spent 12 years in IT consulting prior to joining state service

  • When not brainstorming new ideas or creating positive change, you can

usually find me playing video games with my son, dancing with my daughter, or watching baseball with my husband

  • Service - Give to the community that has given so

much to me.

responsibility to care for what others have started and pass on to those who come next.

NCSEA, and the people who work together here.

membership and design inclusive experiences for all members.

  • Michigan’s IV-D Director going on 6 years.
  • Current VP and Incoming President of National Council of Child Support
  • Directors. Have led mentoring committee, chaired monthly call of new

directors, currently lead systems modernization and serve on public relations.

  • Current NCSEA Board Member, co-led NCSEA’s Strategic Plan process,

Professional Development Committee, co-chaired NCSEA Policy Forum, serve or have served on Policy & Government Relations, E-Learning, and Affinity Groups.

  • Led Michigan to record high current and past-due support performance.
  • Outstanding Mentor award from MI Dept. of Health and Human Services.
  • Have worked in child support for 15 years.

What are your accomplishments/achievements in child support?

  • Initiated NCSEA’s affinity groups to connect folks who do

similar work in child support. I look forward to supporting the expansion of affinity groups to a broader audience.

  • Be an accessible mentor/role model.
  • Bring additional ideas to connect with future leaders such as a

formal mentoring program for NCSEA U participants/alumni.

  • Support and leverage new technology to connect NCSEA

members.
