extenuating circumstance or special education exception. Government/Current Events

  • Try and stay updated on current events. We

will discuss them throughout the year when we can.

  • We will try and Skype or invite local

politicians to speak about government

Technology Used everyday! Make sure to have fully charged iPad! Schoology easy to use! All assignments and due dates there Textbook available online on ANY computer! Absences Students are responsible for coming to me for missed material and work. I can not track ALL of them down everyday! Work can be made up in an appropriate amount of time if absent

Semi-Permanent Partners

I started using this last year with success Students picked a partner they work with for along duration of time No awkwardness/stress in always finding new

  • partners. They develop a better working

relationship and can assist each other better Lots of research has been put into this I reserve the right to change partners at any time due to a partnership not working out

Grading

Assessments-Mostly written. Always announced. Quizzes-Sometimes unannounced. Multiple choice sometimes some writing. Classwork-Sometimes, but NEVER becomes homework Projects-Always announced ahead of time Writing-Throughout the year. Done in class mostly Usually only update grade book once a week

Extra Credit

  • Visit any historical site after the first day
  • f school.Take a picture of yourself there
  • Print the picture, bring to school
  • Goes on my wall for 30 years
  • 5 points per picture. 3 pictures per

My Apologies For not being here tonight. I am extremely under the weather with a sever case of strep throat and was told by the doctor to NOT go anywhere public for fear of spreading it. I hope to be able to return Thursday or Friday this week.
