• 03 October – 07 November 2017

Online Notification:

• 02 May 2018

Interviews (at Consulate):

• October 2018 – September 2019

How Can You Participate?

Registration: www.dvlottery.state.gov

REGISTER YOURSELF IN ORDER TO PREVENT FRAUD, DON’T ALLOW SOMEONE ELSE TO REGISTER FOR YOU

It’s FREE!

• You will get a confirmation number when you

register online, this will be the final step of registration

• Save this number until September 30, 2019
• The only time you need to pay a fee for the visa

will be at the Consulate after you have been selected – this will be the day of your interview

THE LOTTERY IS COMPLETELY FREE

Be Careful!

• Incorrect or missing information in your application

can lead to a disqualification – even after you have already been selected

• ALL the members of your family – including biological

children, step-children, and adopted children who are under 21 years of age and are not married – must be included in your application

• If your name is entered more than once, it will

disqualify you. Make sure no family members are entering you on their behalf so you are not accidentally entered twice

• A degree from secondary school (baccalauréat);

OR

• Two years of professional experience within the

last five years

When Will We Know the Results?

• May 1, 2017
• Notification is only made via the website

www.dvlottery.state.gov

• Entrant Status Check
• You can check using your confirmation

number, family name, and date of birth

If You are Selected…

1) You must fill out the DS-260 questionnaire (http://ceac.state.gov/iv/) 2) After you have submitted the information, you will receive an email confirming your appointment and detailing the documents you will need to bring for the interview

About the Appointment…

Necessary Documents:

• A report from a medical exam (approximate cost

is 2,500MAD)

• Civil documents (including English translations)
• A valid contact in the U.S. with a complete

mailing address Ineligibilities:

• Certain medical conditions
• Certain criminal acts
