Apprenticeships- SPCC

WHAT IS APPRENTICESHIP?

  • An apprenticeship allows students to earn while they learn a highly-skilled trade. The program consist of intensive on

the job training and related classroom instruction provided by South Piedmont Community College.

  • Apprentices receive free education while earning a full time wage that increases as they progress through the program.
  • At the completion of the program apprentices will receive Journey workers Certification, college credits that can be

applied towards a Diploma or Degree, in addition to secure employment with the opportunity to advance.

▶ Different military branches visit SVHS throughout the year ▶ The ASVAB test is REQUIRED (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) for entrance into the military ▶ SVHS will offer the ASVAB test 3 times this year!
