○ We are looking to find ways to make the program more sustainable while expanding it to meet student needs.
○ Over the past year we have had a large increase in donations and we want to make that more available to students.
○ At the end of each semester we host this program to give students the opportunity to study throughout the night in classrooms in Jamrich.
○ Mobile Secretary of State office came to campus and helped to register 162 students to vote. ○ ASNMU sponsored a shuttle to help get students to the polls.
○ ASNMU held two booths at the Northern Lights Dining hall to help educate students on the SRA and help them provide comments.
○ Asked students a variety of questions about current and future thoughts on mental health here on campus. Results will be forwarded to the Mental Health Task Force for review and analysis.
○ Working with the NMU Archives, we have a group working on collecting information on the history of ASNMU which we hope to share with students next semester.
○ This year will be third year for the conference and Lake Superior State University will be hosting the conference.
○ With a large turnout last year we hope to replicate the same enthusiasm! ○ We will be looking at amending our Constitution to better reflect down campus and making sure students that live there are adequately represented.
○ U.P. Representation included ASNMU and Lake Superior State University.
○ Student engagement, mental health on campus, higher education funding, sustainability on campus, civic engagement, and programs that provided free feminine hygiene products on campus.
how sustainability is a part of our identity as a university.
○ Highlighted the Sustainability Advisory Council, EcoReps, and Food Recovery Network.
○ Students enjoy the new statue and we are grateful to have been a part of the event.
○ 3-4 representatives met with each candidate and spoke about NMU and our students.
○ Has been a great success and have received a lot of positive feedback.
○ ASNMU is grateful for the opportunity to be involved in these opportunities and we had another successful year of selecting speakers.
