Optional Elements

RCW 90.94.020 (4)(d)(i)

• The watershed plan may include:
• (i) Recommendations for modification to fees established under this

subsection;

• Requires rulemaking process for Ecology
• Would need justification beyond not wanting fees

RCW 90.94.020 (4)(d)(ii)

• Standards for water use quantities that are less than authorized

under RCW 90.44.050 or more or less than authorized under subsection (5) of this section for withdrawals exempt from permitting;

• 5,000 gallons per day exemption
• The PU may recommend restricting this maximum

RCW 90.94.020 (4)(d)(iii)

• (iii) Specific conservation requirements for new water users to be

adopted by local or state permitting authorities; or

• The PU may recommend that Okanogan County adopt a revised building code

for water conservation fixtures or similar devices

• There may be other water conservation requirements the PU may

recommend as well

RCW 90.94.020 (4)(d)(iv)

• (iv) Other approaches to manage water resources for a water

resource inventory area or a portion thereof.
