Over the last 30 years, a large body of work has shown that children who are skilled at recognizing feelings, dealing with conflict, and exercising self-control are more likely than peers to succeed in school and to do well in life. Track children on the SEL continuum twice a year
Analyze the results and make decisions about which skills need to be

taught and have a stronger focus

area and specifically with lessons
