Our Collaborative Work with Families and the Community

Senior citizens from the community volunteer once a week as conversation partners for newcomers at the high school.

Department Goal : EL students and families will be members of and participate in the school community.

We believe our EL parents are an asset to our schools. They are

  • ften invited to teach about their

culture and holidays. We can even find ways to include parents who are still learning English. All Are Welcome!
