• Each School in the District will

receive a new website

• These websites will be specific to

each school and share the same features as the district website

Teacher Websites

• The real power of BlackBoard Engage can be found within the

Teacher Websites

• Each Teacher will be given an individual website dedicated to the

classes he or she is teaching

• These websites act as mobile classrooms that can be accessed at

any computer, they will contain:

– Homework Assignments – Study-guides – Schedules and due-dates – Grades – And so much more

Students and Parents

• Each Student will have their own specific BlackBoard Engage account

which keeps track of the classes they have as well as Email, grades, attendance and more

• A student can log into his or her account from any Plainedge School

District Website and when they do they will be brought to their own personal webpage

• On this webpage the student will have access to:

– A list of the classes they are attending and links to those specific websites – Their storage folder – Grades – Calendars

• Parents will be able to link their accounts with their children and have

access to everything that the students have

• Parents will be able monitor grades and schedules from the first day of

classes until the end of the term
