How It Works • Students take first college course before starting high school. • Students continue to take college courses each semester college courses each semester of high school, and every summer every summer throughout high school. • Students participate in field trips field trips and work-based lear work-based learning ning experiences each year: • Grade 9 - Industry convention/industry site visits • Grade 10 - Job shadowing • Grade 11 - Professional Mentor • Grade 12 - Paid internship • Students earn a technical certificate technical certificate and an AS (Ag Mechanics AS (Ag Mechanics or Plant Science) degr or Plant Science) degree ee by the summer following the senior year. • Students must complete college course work with C or better • D and F grade will impact financial aid for college
The Wonderful Ag Mechanics Pathway is a grade 9-12 Ag Mechanics pathway that provides students with an opportunity to gain skills and work experience within the Mechanics setting. Students interested in pursuing a career in the fjeld of Mechanics/Agriculture, wonderful agricultural should consider the Ag Mechanics pathway. Courses with Dual Credit are through Reedley college. This is a mechanics pathway pathway of high expectations and high reward. The Wonderful Plant Science Pathway is a grade 9-12 Plant Science pathway that provides students with an opportunity to gain skills and work experience within the Agricultural setting.
