Development Plan?

n A new right for a local community to have a real say in the

planning system

n A statutory document that all planning applications in our

parish will be judged against

n Written locally by local people n Shaped by the views and concerns of those who live in the

parish

n To meet the Core Strategy housing

numbers we conducted a ‘call for sites’ last summer

n Aim was to identify suitable sites that

the community could support rather than sites brought forward by the large house builders

n Received 10 sites n Independent planning assessment and

public consultation in November 2014

n Consultation Draft NDP will bring
