well-known face in the major oil and gas petroleum industry globally, having spent

management and as POAC he has carried numerous STS operations. He has an extensive experience in ship and port operations, marine advice, marine assurance, HSE, commercial operations and business development globally.

Clive has held a number of industry positions including OCIMF work groups involved with the STS Transfer Guide, STS Focus Group, Marine Terminals Focus Group, MTIS Task Force and the EMEA STS Forum.

Soka Kikuchi
- SafeSTS Consultant, who started his career with
- verseas marketing for Yokohama Rubber
Company, Tokyo, 1962-1971. His career path included also the following: Chief Europe Representative London, 1972-1977, Overseas Marketing Manager Tokyo, 1978-1986, Specific Marine Projects General Manager, 1987-1994. Soka Kikuchi has been a President of Marine Business Consultancy (MBC) International, Yokohama, since 1994 and a Marine Consultant for ship-to-ship transfer, ports and harbours since 1994. He’s also been a Marketing Consultant for Bintulu Port since 2001 and a Tea Master Enshu Tea Ceremony since 1961.
- Since 1980 Soka Kikuchi has been a
Professional International Tea Master, Tea
- Ceremony. He is also a Member of International
Association Ports & Harbours (life support member).
- Soka Kikuchi was instrumental in setting up STS
in Japan and works across Tokyo to support client base in country.
- Capt. George Franklin
- After obtaining a Masters Class 1
Certificate of Competency, has had 30 years of expatriate experience in upstream, downstream, shipping and trading activities in Shell, incl. pilotage, rig moving, support craft management, new field developments in hostile areas, project work (Offshore facility installations), terminal management, SBM design and installation, HSSE and Risk Management. In the latter stages of career, Capt. George was based in London where, amongst
- ther responsibilities, he chaired the OGP
Industry Work Group (GIRG) and also chaired the OCIMF working group tasked with re-writing and updating the OCIMF publications on the operation, maintenance and sparing policy regarding SPMs (published December 2014). After retiring from Shell in 2013, Capt. George has been working with a company called Offshore Ops Limited on completing the development and rollout of an SBM Telemetry Data Management System.

graduate in Business Administration and post graduate in Project Management. Marcello is highly experienced, having spent over two decades in the Brazilian

local STS market since its beginning, gaining excellent knowledge of all STS
- equipment. He has managed service
companies in the offshore market and is highly focussed on the commercial role
- f dealing with major oil companies on
service and supply contracts.

Manuel Guerrero
- Regional Manager – South America. A highly
experienced Mooring Master. He has been a Loading Master and Offshore Terminal Manager responsible for loading and unloading
- perations. This included issuing all International
cargo documents, ensuring the vessels comply with all international and national regulations, supervising ISPS Terminal procedures and supervising the SPM and pipelines cargo system maintenance process.
