Who do you refer to S DBS ?

Concerns are primarily related to the child’s development

S uspect cognitive impairment

Language skills > 1 year delay

? AS D or social communication concerns

Developmental delays in multiple areas: speech and language, play, behaviour, social/ emotional skills, fine motor, self-help skills, peer interactions, etc. Language skills < 1 year delay and having difficulties with behaviour or attention skills. Complex family dynamics (i.e., mental health, socio-economic factors, attachment concerns, family history of learning difficulties, ADHD, etc.)
