Dear professors DUNE is one of the leading HEP experiments and one that is meant to be a truly international collaboration with the participation of scientists, engineers, technicians and students from all over the

experiments in several fields of science. As such we should make our actions as international and as diverse as the countries and institutions involved in our experiment. This will not only strength DUNE as a group but also advance the participation of different groups worldwide. In the spirit of internationalization we propose hosting a DUNE collaboration meeting in Rio de Janeiro in 2018. This would give a opportunity to increase our participation in the experiment and help to attract the attention of the funding agencies and the policy making bodies. I am providing some basic information on the proposed meeting in Rio.
