Staff initiated processes in other cities:

  • Pittsburgh, PA – Staff can create or amend

zones, but changes must be approved by Council who requires evidence of a community process

  • San Francisco – Staff can make

recommendations to designate, remove, or modify RPP areas through the Board of Director’s process

  • Montgomery County, MD – Staff can initiate

changes near the Purple Line.
