WHAT? WHEN? WHERE?

DENTA - Dentistry and dental technologies international exhibition – now at its 36th edition, as a constant element of the industry, is organized, since 2015, both in the spring and in autumn. The biggest Romanian trade fair of the dentistry industry, DENTA, represents the ideal platform to exhibit the latest technologies, to enter new markets and to purchase products and equipment at affordable prices, available only during the exhibition. Companies from Romania and from abroad exhibit at DENTA equipment, accessories, materials, oral hygiene products and dentistry chemical-pharmaceutical products. This year’s autumn edition is organized between the 23rd and 25th November 2017 in the C2 and C4-C5 Pavilions of the Romexpo Exhibition Centre. Visiting hours: 23rd - 25th November : from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. DENTA is an event dedicated to specialists from the dentistry and dental field. Entrance fee: Entrance ticket for adults and students: 10 lei/day Children under 7 years, persons with disabilities and institutionalized persons have free access.

In the last year, the number of private dental offices in Romania increased by 18%, from 12,502 to 14,732. Almost 80% of Romanians have dental problems and the appearance of caries is the most common condition. Four out of ten people have problems with bacterial dental plaque, and three out of ten have bad breath and sensitive teeth. The most common symptoms for sensitive teeth are sore when eating products hot or cold (91%), followed by pain caused by consumption of sweet / sour (50%) or when in contact with cold air (47% ). Those with gum problems mostly have bleeding gums after brushing, gum irritation and inflammation. Medical statistics show that 72.1% of Romanians have dental caries, 40.6% tartar, 52% dental plaque, 44.9% do not have fresh breathing, 26.1% have teeth stains, 20.9% caries Parcels and 39.7% do not have healthy gums.
