HASDRUBAL ASSET DESCRIPTION

The Hasdrubal gas field is part of the Amilcar permit and comprises of a rich gas condensate reservoir and an associated oil rim. It is located in the Gulf of Gabes 125 km South East of Sfax and 36 km South West of the Miskar Field in approximately 60 metres of water.

19

slide-22
SLIDE 22

2- MISKAR

  • The Miskar gas field is located offshore Tunisia in the Gulf of Gabes,

approximately 125 kilometres southeast of the city of Sfax. The field was discovered by Elf in 1975 but remained undeveloped until BG brought it onstream in 1996 when a local gas market had been established.

  • Gas is produced from the field via an offshore platforms and piped
  • nshore to the BG-operated Hannibal gas processing plant (GPP-Sfax).

20

slide-23
SLIDE 23

2- MISKAR

21

  • BG is the largest producer of gas in Tunisia through operating both fields

(Miskar & Hasdrubal), which satisfy over 60% of local gas demand.
