Overview

• The Rocky Mountain Power wattsmart New Homes

program(currently) offers Builder/developers incentives and marketing support for building homes that are more efficient than the Utah energy code requires.

• Incentives are available for new homes that obtain qualifying RESNET HERS

scores.

• There are also “bonus” incentives for ENERGY STAR certification and/or

“stand-alone” items.

• Smart thermostats
• High efficiency air conditioning
• HERS incentives are higher for homes that do not have access to natural

gas.
