• Curriculum: what students need to know and be able to do

including unit plans, formative and summative assessments, alignment to resources, etc.

• Resources: materials used to support teaching and

learning experiences aligned to the curriculum

• Instructional Strategies: teaching techniques used to

support students in mastering the curriculum

• Language Acquisition: process students go through as they

learn the elements of a new language, including vocabulary, phonological components, grammatical structures, and writing systems

Ensure that the resources selected:

• Provide a foundation for relevant and personalized

learning experiences for all learners
