Program Eligibility Max Award Amount Applications Due Spending Period Central Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity (RSCA) Program Unit 3 faculty $5,000 or 0.2 RT, or one‐ month summer salary (capped at $5,000) March July 1– June 30 Emeritus and Retired Faculty Association RSCA Award (ERFA) Lecturers with more than 6 years of continuous service to SJSU, tenure‐track faculty and tenured faculty Two awards up to $2,500 December July 1 – June 30 Faculty Diversity Development Research, Curricular and Creative Activities Lecturers, tenure‐track and tenured faculty 0.2 RT, or $5,000 salary awards, or $5,000 research funds Typically late Fall semester
