• Night Work 10PM-6AM
• 5ft pedestrian walkways
• Two 12ft wide Northbound lanes
• One 12ft wide Southbound lane
• No construction materials on Bowery
• 50ft X 8ft of curb lane on one-way streets for enclosed storage of materials
• On Delancey Street– Two 11ft wide Eastbound Lanes & Two 11ft wide Westbound

COMMUNITY IMPACTS

• Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
• Intermittent street closures and/or limited access may be necessary
• Bus routes affected by the project:
• Bowery (Canal St. – E. 4th St.) – M103
• DDC will monitor operation and work within DEP Noise Code regulations
• Sidewalk and/or loading dock access from the curb may be temporarily

restricted while work is conducted (coordination will be arranged on a case by case basis)

• Parking may be temporarily restricted during construction

Water Service Interruptions:

Water service disruption planned

• Typically 8hrs (not consecutive)
• 72 hour advance notice will be provided
• Specific instruction will be provided prior to water shutoff
• If your water service is not restored within 3 hours of the indicated on the

Shutoff notice, please contact the community construction Liaison (CCL) or 311 if after hours. Special Needs:

• Individuals with special needs should contact the CCL
• DDC field staff will work specially with those individuals to minimize certain

inconveniences Rodent Control:

• A rodent survey will be performed prior to construction
• Rodent Control Stations will be installed by a professional rodent control

contractor
