  • Of these, 35,919 were unique visits
  • Facebook and Instagram posts reached 245,759

people

  • Over 70,000 people visited SeePort, which

included a large master plan display

Despite a good level of awareness, we got very few responses, which is disappointing:

  • 0.03% of Facebook users (547 people) reacted

Project priorities and sequence: 1. Car handling building - consent in 2018, complete late 2019 2. Construct Bledisloe North Berth – approx 2019/2021 3. Demolish Shed 51 and part of Bledisloe B1 Wharf – early 2020 4. Engineering workshop – planning approx 2020, construction 2021/22 5. Relocate ships from Captain Cook to Bledisloe North – approx 2021 6. Construct roof top park on car building - After Bledisloe North 7. Deepen channel – dependent on shipping needs 8. Remove Marsden and deepen Cook/Bledisloe Basin – after 2022 9. New port office: after 2022

Public response has been broadly supportive. We will continue to work with Council to ensure that our proposals integrate with Council plans and support Council objectives for future development. This is just the start of the conversation. We will continue to work with Council and other stakeholders in an open and transparent way.
