Raw Gas Oil (RGO) is a Petroleum Distillate by-product. It’s produced in the early stages of the re-refining process as the feedstock is being stripped of impurities.

RGO has low water content and is essentially the gasoline and diesel which have been removed from the used motor oil feedstock. The product has approximately 1.0% sulfur content and has a yellow-to- brown appearance.

The material is very thin and light, having viscosity and density values similar to that of a diesel fuel and gasoline mixture. This material is ideal for fuel refiners needing additional feedstock for their process.

Lube Distillate is the Petroleum Distillate that remains after fuels, water, impurities, and spent additive components have been removed from the used motor oil feedstock. This material is known as Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO)

  • r Light Vacuum Gas Oil.

The color characterization of VGO would be honey/brown. VGO has a low metal content, typically less than 50ppm total metals, and a normal viscosity of 130 SUS. After the removal of contaminants from the used motor oil, the resulting VGO can serve as an excellent feedstock for a fluid catalytic cracker in the production of gasoline/diesel or as additional feedstock for base oil producers.

Hydrofinished Gas Oil

Hydrofinished Gas Oil (HGO) is a fully refined Petroleum

  • Distillate. This material has been captured at the completion of the

re-refining hydrotreating process. HGO is the lightest product captured during the fractionation process. HGO has a water white appearance with a sulfur content of approximately 0.02% by weight. The viscosity is typically 50 SUS with a typical flash point of 270°F. The material is similar to highly refined Kerosene/Diesel Fuel and would make excellent feedstock for Diesel Fuel refining.

Asphalt Flux

Asphalt Flux is a thick tar-like material that is produced from extracting the polymers and additive materials from used motor oil feedstock. This product is suitable as :

  • Feedstock for a delayed coker at a refinery

producing transportation fuels.

  • An excellent Asphalt Extender for the paving

industry.

  • An [additive] in material for the roofing and

construction sectors.
