How does it work

The Quazar™ utilizes both RF and Web technologies to get the right information at the right time to the right people. With this innovation, anyone with authorized access and an internet connection, can log in and view the system and information.

Monitor your project from anywhere in the world

Once logged in, you see your home screen which illustrates the location of all Quazar™ units on a map along with your project location (Where the control Base Unit is usually housed but can be housed at a nearby command center with a ‘viewing’ Base Station located at the project site). The information is transmitted wirelessly to the Control Unit which then uploads real time via the web to the United Safety Server. Each Quazar™ can be interrogated with the simple click of the mouse and the data appears on the right hand side of the screen.

More than a gas monitor

The Quazar™ is capable of being much more than a gas monitor. It processes averages and data logs to provide you with reliable:

• Gas readings
• Wind speed
• Wind direction
• GPS Coordinates
• Unit ID
• Distances from project or designated points

This information is critical to our clients to have on record and in real time before, during and after any event. With United Safety on your team advising on utilization and placement of the systems, the real time information our clients have access to decreases response times, increases confidence and increases safety of the community and assets during Emergency Response Events and daily operations.

Gas monitoring is one side of the story; data logging is the other.

The Quazar™ excels in multi-tasking. While it is a top-notch gas monitor, it also performs invaluable data logging services. From H2S and SO2 levels to LEL averages, wind speeds to wind directions, the Quazar™ keeps a reliable and accurate data log that can be stored, saved and reviewed at any time. This data log function provides our clients with valuable proof that they have stayed within regulations, minimizing client’s risk exposure. In short, the Quazar™ protects communities while safeguarding clients.

An example of the innovative and advanced technology is the Windrose

• Screen. Here, wind speed and wind direction can be tracked. This

provides valuable information to determine the direction in which the gas will be headed and the speed at which it will spread so appropriate decisions and actions can be taken. Logged data can also be customized and captured for varying time periods to ensure a proper record is available.

Another example is the charting tool that allows you to spot any alarming trends well before it becomes a cause for concern.
