ZENTERIO AND PUM Zenterio has collaborated with Linköping university for the PUM course since 2012. 2012 : STB remote control app for Android phones and tablets. • 2013 : HTML5 UI for STBs with intuitive navigation. • 2014 : Lua app development (link): gaming, education, fitness, etc.. • 2015 : Lua app development (link): add multi-user capabilities. • 2016 : JetUI enhanced services (link): recommender system, social interaction, gamification, remote viewing. • 2017 : AI for TV operators (link): image recognition, targeted ads, recommender systems for breaking news and trends. • Almost Ingenjörer Inc.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW Your company is a content provider willing to reach a broader audience. • Zenterio has been chosen as the partner to boost your content catalogue and reach as many TV operators as possible. • Your product must be an end-to-end solution based on the Zenterio Cloud service for content aggregation : • 1. Integrate your own open API content catalogue in Zenterio Cloud (e.g. TMDb). 2. Generate a cloud component to enhance your content (e.g. metadata enrichment). 3. Develop a platform-specific user interface to access your content via Zenterio Cloud (e.g. Android, iOS, Web). Your company has to provide three different product proposals that you aim to develop. • Zenterio will review the proposals and choose only one of them to work with. • ”It does not make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS Zenterio prioritizes an innovative solution with a clear and manageable goal . • - Don’t shoot for the stars. The product must use Zenterio Cloud and integrate a new content catalogue . • - Use a public version control repository for your development (i.e. GitHub). NDA needs to be signed by all employees in the company (link). • - Edit, sign electronically, and upload the NDA document under your company folder here. - No company can start the project until all employees have signed the NDA.
MILESTONES 1/2 • September 11: deadline to collect all product proposals. - The representative of each company must send the following by e-mail: - E-mail subject: PUM18 - Company name . - Description of each three product proposal (maximum 3). - Project proposals will be reviewed by Zenterio and feedback will be provided. - All employees must have signed and uploaded the NDA document. - PDF file name: Name of the employee . - Upload the PDF file under the company’s folder name in the repository (link). - Book a time slot for the kick-off meeting (link). • September 13: kick-off meeting at Zenterio’s office. - Each company will have 20 minutes to present the project proposals (max. 4 participants).
MILESTONES 2/2 • September 14: Zenterio will communicate the project to each company. - At this point, companies can start their internal project process (backlog, etc...). - Agile methodology is suggested to keep the delivery planning. • September 27: deadline to present the project details from each company. - Presentation should include project overview, business case, features delivery plan, etc.. • Delivery planning : October 12: 1 st delivery. • November 9: 2 nd delivery. • November 23: 3 rd delivery. • December 7: 4 th delivery. • • December 13: final release and presentation + celebration!
