Initial Findings: Assess familiarity with mill levy

  • Generally, more than half of the respondents had a none

to fair understanding of the mill levy services.

  • Of those who have applied for mill levy funds (29%), the

experience was positive. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being extremely negative to 10 being extremely positive, the average score was 7.

The highest number of respondents felt the following I/DD services “work well”:

  • Home and community-based supports
  • Early intervention (services for students 0-3 years)
  • Durable medical equipment
  • Vision services
  • Medical services
