Project goals
- Results of the project will have a significant impact on improving the quality of welding, as well as popularize the
welding profession, making sure that companies and government institutions become aware of the importance of welders, and to help young people in choosing welding as their future profession.
- Welders of all profiles will have the option of lifelong education and training, and keeping up with all the latest
developments (website and social networks).
- The project will have a long term impact on young people in search of employment, the training of trainees and
professionals and will provide the necessary resources (such as network) to keep up with the latest developments in the profession, so that welders could work and acquire new knowledge, skills and achieving stability in welding.

College ULJANIK was established on 12 July 2006
Main reasons were to raise the level of education and skills of workers in the ULJANIK Group and to train unemployed candidates primarily in manufacture and shipbuilding
- ccupations.
Training programs for production occupations, handling machines and equipment, offered by College ULJANIK, are created by Uljanik's experts.
All training and specialization are accredited by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
After completion of training, appropriate certificates are issued as certificates of qualification which have a value of public documents.

5 practical training centers (3 in Pula, 1 in Rijeka and 1 in Sl.Brod) with more than 80 training boxes.
in school year 2015/16 1358 participants successfully completed training for various educational programs.
In school year 2015/16 more than 320 unenployed people have completed training and got employed in ULJANIK Group
primary education programs are welding , ship fitters, ship pipe fitters, crane operators, grinders, binding and signaling but other programs are taking place in college like IT programs, safety, firefighting etc...
