Problem Statement

Poverty

• Nearly 23% of the

population lives below the poverty line;

• Poorly resourced

schools;

• Direct and indirect

costs of attendance (school fees/uniforms as well as income lost without children contributing to the household economy);

• Not enough

educational institutes.

Educational Challenges

• Unable to or low levels
• r reading the Lao

language;

• 18% (as of 2017) don’t

finish primary education;

• Learning outcomes are

low;

• Lack of teaching and

learning materials;

• Limited capacity of

teachers;

• Dropouts in early

years;

Aptitude / Attitude

• Cannot take control of

• Parents can’t educate

their children well;

• Can’t cope with

studies due to low concentration and/or IQ levels.

We've delivered our programs in 2 nursing schools. Our programs improve the students overall capacity and ability to perform in school. We have taught English in 4

• hospitals. Hospital workers

They could benefit especially in the field of external relationships.
