If you cannot describe your idea in a simple way, perhaps you do not understand it. One point, one slide is the best. Avoid wordy slide. Use bullet with condense sentence. Use simple word and minimize jargon.

Must know – the more the better but keep the

information. Good to know – sufficient enough to enforce the main

  • points. Too much of this will make the slides messy.

Good slides should have clear opening, punchy middle and brief ending. Opening: Give a roadmap. Tell your audience what you are going to tell them. Middle: Create main point to express key idea. Ending: Summarize main points and place those ideas in the context of big picture.
