Recycling food waste Result : Organisation of buffets « No Waste» for Paprec group in 2014 Collection of waste on events : we set up buffet « No Waste » marked on wich we provide disposable trays. Guests can leave with the food not eaten. We sensibilize our custumers before to participate to this process. Collection of waste in our places : we do have a composter for the recovery of organic waste and give it to a local farm. Our CEO, chairman of the branch catering in the Synhorcat, is the precursor for the recovery of organic waste from the laboratory which are processed into Bio ethanol to power vehicles in charge of this collection. This measure is already practiced particularly among Parisian restaurants.

Calixir carry 20% of his purchase over an area of 150 kilometers In parallel, the proximity og the International Food Market of Rungis enables our buyers to go directly on site to select the best fresh products. In order to have only quality products, our suppliers are chosen for their craftsmanship and recognized in the profession. In addition, the repository "Qualitraiteur" requires caterers to select their suppliers on taste quality criteria, aesthetics, calibration and ability to generate power in numbers.

Respect of hygiene and HACCP norms

In compliance with European hygiene and HACCP standards, all vehicles are refrigerated Calixir house to ensure quality and constant freshness of delivered products. For all our parties, the products are stored on scales and containers with dry ice and insulated cover. Through our commitments as a member of Catering France for the ECO SOCIAL appearance of the Charter,

• ur drivers are trained to respect in terms of food hygiene and safety procedures.

Trucks fleet

Calixir disposes of 4 refrigerated trucks that are tested of the hygiene services of the area. During strong activity, we are using a external renter.

Our eqquipment and furnitures

Calixir disposes of its own equipment and furniture stock with an autonomy of 400 couverts for seated dinners and 1000 people for cocktails. This device provides additional flexibility to respond to unexpected guests at a Reception previously planned.

La Tablée des Chefs & Calixir : Commun ambitions !

Calixir and La Tablée des Chefs signed an agreement of god-fathering in October 2014 Supporting La Tablée des Chefs, Calixir reinforce its commitment in the fight against food waste. Calixir becomes the first caterer to be the god-father of the young assiociation coming from Québec, implanted France in november 2013. The aims de la Tablée des Chefs is : Fight against food waste making easier the collect of the surplus cooked to the benefice of the alimentary help. Raise awareness among the futur professionnals and the companies by culinary ateliers. Transmit the expertise of leaders to young people from sensitive areas or disadvantaged backgrounds, to teach them to eat better, and open their future prospects in the catering trades As part of this collaboration, .Calixir contributes to these three strands of action through commitments and a commitment of its own leaders.

The French Table club & Calixir

Calixir becomes member of the French Table Club in order to to increase the value of the french culinary heritage, to promote the diversity of land products, the wealth of our gastronomics professions. The French Table Club organizes every years, for 7 yearsx, « The Great Dinner »

A gastronomic dinner which took place this 29 february of 2016 in the prestigious linving rooms of the Potocki hotel, gathering parliamenterians, federations and private companies of the gastronomy. This year, the dinner celebrated the 5 years of the classment of the gastronomic dinner of French people to the Unesco heritage. As a member of the Club, Calixir elaborated a great dinner with several famous head chefs and 2 French Master Chefs, Guillaume Gomez (Head Chef of the Elysées Cuisine) and Michel Roth, for 250 people.
