 80 credits is required for graduation  Recommended minimum 88 credits (gives you a buffer)

  • 52 required course credits, and 28 elective credits
  • 16 credits must be at the Grade 12 level
  • 4 credits must be a Fine Arts or Applied Skill in either grade

10, 11 or 12

  • 8 credits must be Career Life Education, Career Life

Connections and Capstone

  • Capstone is completed in Grade 12

 Numeracy assessment must be completed by the end of grade 12  Literacy assessments (Grade 10 and 12) must be completed  Student Self Assessment of Core Competencies

programs ranging from one year certificates to two year diplomas to four year bachelor degrees – the type of program a student may pursue will depend on their career goals, personal interest, and financial situation.

  • There is no one size grad plan that fits for all

post-secondary institutions – each program will have specific entrance requirements that can and will vary from one post-secondary institution to the next.

  • Thus course planning for post secondary
