related to Lake Taylor Middle – The building will house grades three thru eight – Students who would have attended Fairlawn (grades 3 thru 5) will attend the current Lake Taylor Middle (Lake Taylor School) – Students who would have attended Poplar Halls (Pre-k thru 2) will attend Fairlawn
- Fairlawn will house grades Pre-k thru 2
- Poplar Halls will be closed
Note: Fairlawn and Poplar Halls have the same attendance zones (they are grade-paired schools)

Community Meeting March 7, 2019
Cooperative Strategies presented a goal of realigning elementary to middle school feeder patterns to the school board to keep students together as they rise up through the grades. In several instances, rising 6th students are split among multiple middle schools. This adjustment is the next step in the long-range goal.

Coleman Place
– Current middle school assignment is divided between Norview MS (50%), Azalea Gardens (25%), Lake Taylor MS (23%) and Ruffner (2%) – Students currently zoned for Lake Taylor MS will attend Norview MS (rising 6th grade students) – Students currently attending Lake Taylor MS will be grandfathered (continue at LTS)

Summary:
All Ingleside students and some students from Sherwood Forest and Coleman Place (currently zoned to attend Lake Taylor MS) will be zoned to attend Norview MS. This change impacts current and future 5th grade students. Students currently attending Lake Taylor MS will be grandfathered to continue at the school. No change in high school attendance zones.
