Learnings  Workshop was effective for discussing the types of actions that can be taken to advance the green economy and sustainable community  Ensure diversity of audiences around the table – private sector, Indigenous  Important to share existing initiatives – Malcolm Hunt’s presentation on TRIP was considered useful  Peterborough is well-positioned to do a lot more in this area

Next Step Actions • Present the findings to County Council, PKED, Sustainable Peterborough • Identify opportunities for PKED and SP to move forward • PKED to create Clean Tech Advisory Committee • Council can seek greater policy alignment around the green economy
