Glass Mould
Switch from regular steel mould to glass mould:
- Very good surface quality
- PEN tends to stick to polished steel -> release agent is necessary
- It is more difficult to produce complicated moulds from glass
- Glass has a very low thermal conductivity (slow cooling of polymer).
It is ideal for production of very thin but large parts with injection compression moulding
