The Peel Goods Movement Task Force

  • In April 2009, Peel Regional Council directed that a Task

Force be established to facilitate better planning and implementation of goods movement infrastructure and services, in partnership with the private sector and other levels

  • f government.
  • The Task Force is intended to be a partnership, with members

acting through consultation, communication and consensus- building.

  • The Task Force could also serve as the source of Peel-

specific input to ongoing Federal, Provincial and Metrolinx-led goods movement studies and strategies. The Task Force would complement and support the other goods movement efforts.
