Paynesville Safety Review – Nov 2015 Mezzanine needs a 4-inch guard along the bottom to prevent items from rolling off and causing injury below. Mezzanine must have clear access from the office, to the stairs and to the open area below. Currently stairs are partially blocked by passenger seats from trucks at the top and blocked by drums at the bottom. Electrical boxes must have clear access. West wall is blocked by scrap metal and cylinders. Under mezzanine shut off is blocked by drums and tires. Suggest clearing area and painting yellow lines 3 feet around box areas. Back storage room air compressor must have a guard around the belts and clear access around
- it. Housekeeping/organize.
All outside outlets need to be fixed and have weather cover affixed. This also includes the
- utlets on the east wall of the washbay that are exposed when trucks are being washed.
An electrical switch cover is missing on the light switch by the downstairs bathroom. Cover on receptacle by the fueling station. Fire Extinguishers must stay hanging on their designated locations. They are serviced annually but shop personnel must inspect and sign them off monthly (tags are on them). Building north of the truck wash building is mainly used for driver’s personal storage. It is not
- rganized and probably would be considered a safety hazard by OSHA.
